Dongre Associates was established in Vadodara in 1987 by A. B. Dongre when he returned from Sharjah, UAE, after almost a decade of valuable experience as Project Manager with vast and varied civil engineering projects. A.B. Dongre is a qualified civil engineer from Nagpur University and as a fresh graduate, worked with Gannon Dunkerley & Co. Ltd. Here the projects ranged from Bridges, Chemical Factories, Turbine Foundations for Thermal Power Stations, Water Treatment Plants, RCC Cooling Towers, and Textile Mills.

At Sharjah, he managed the construction of a huge Sports Complex housed under a covered Dome with an Olympic-size Football Stadium, a 6-track Racing Stadium, and a Club House, co-ordinated the construction of the 320-bed Sharjah General Hospital and was project manager for the construction of a 12-storey high-class apartment suites for HH, the ruler of Sharjah.
Dongre Associates offers services as Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors at Civil Construction projects.
Project Managers : We undertake projects to provide programming, scheduling, co-ordination, and materials management for clients. We supervise the project’s successful execution on a daily basis, verifying measurements and approval of bills received from contractors/suppliers. We keep the clients updated on a regular basis on the progress made on the project, targets met, problems expected and possible solutions, cash flow and budget situations, report compilation, and so on.
Quantity Surveyors : We quantify, cost, estimate and carry out value engineering, design, draft and plan for large and small projects. We also provide tender documentation, following it up with the issue, receipt, evaluation of tenders, preparing reports for client evaluation, and assisting in the negotiation and final award of tenders.

Infrastructure : Dongre Associates have offices in Mumbai and Vadodara. Three Managers, four Senior Civil Engineers and four Junior Civil Engineers oversee all our projects and the extensive, laborious documentation work that each one demands. This documentation is backed by state-of-the-art Pentium computers and relevant softwares. We network with established teams of professional and well-reputed technical personnel as and when we require them on projects.
